Refundlabs退款管家在為客戶向亞馬遜索賠貨件丟失情況的過程中,經(jīng)常遇到亞馬遜要求提供相應(yīng)文件來證明客戶的貨件發(fā)到了亞馬遜的倉庫中。比如BOL(Bill of Lading)或POD(Proof of Delivery)上邊包含了相關(guān)的貨件信息,這類文件在您的承運(yùn)商確實(shí)將貨件送抵亞馬遜倉庫后,倉庫會(huì)出具這類文件以證明其收到,然后交給承運(yùn)商。很多客戶已經(jīng)知道這個(gè)事實(shí)。
但是,最近發(fā)現(xiàn)了亞馬遜針對(duì)貨件丟失,通過Refundlabs退款管家開的case要求客戶提供Drop off Receipt,這個(gè)文件之前很少見到,相信很多客戶賣家們也不清楚這個(gè)東西具體是個(gè)啥東西。今天我就來說一說這個(gè)。
Drop off的意思是中途放下,在物流方面來說就是指您的貨件并不是最終投遞到達(dá)的性質(zhì),而是中間到了某一步暫時(shí)卸貨。比如國(guó)內(nèi)物流會(huì)分揀、分發(fā)、裝車,然后期間會(huì)經(jīng)過一個(gè)個(gè)物流點(diǎn),每次在這些物流點(diǎn)將快遞卸車后都屬于drop off狀態(tài)。
Drop off Receipt的意思自然就是指針對(duì)這個(gè)狀態(tài)所開具的發(fā)票或收條。
那么,由誰來開具這個(gè)文件呢?
目前來看,主要是UPS和亞馬遜自身。
UPS本來就在提供這項(xiàng)服務(wù),當(dāng)UPS受理了您的貨件運(yùn)送請(qǐng)求后,您可以將貨件運(yùn)送至UPS的對(duì)應(yīng)的drop off store暫存(類似于國(guó)內(nèi)的分揀中心或門店),這時(shí)store中的工作人員會(huì)給您的貨件貼上相應(yīng)的標(biāo)簽(比如prepaid label),但是,您千萬不要以為只要有這個(gè)標(biāo)簽夠了,這也是很多賣家在出現(xiàn)貨件丟失等問題時(shí)吃虧的地方。
UPS工作人員這時(shí)應(yīng)該提供您上述的Drop off Receipt,但是他們并不是主動(dòng)提供,需要您和他們索要,后期如果貨件丟失,亞馬遜那邊反饋他們從來沒接收到,到時(shí)您找UPS查詢貨件情況,很多時(shí)候UPS會(huì)比較無賴,要求您提供Drop off Receipt才會(huì)調(diào)查,您說您有UPS的tracking number?那也不行。
比如對(duì)比下邊兩種對(duì)話情境:
(1)當(dāng)您有Drop off Receipt時(shí)
(UPS) We don’t have a record of your shipment sir.
(You) I have proof, I have my drop off receipt. It says right here scanned at 11:30am on Feb 13, 2012 at location?#1234
(UPS) Can you send us a copy of that receipt?
(You) I sure can.
(UPS) We received your drop off receipt and will start processing your claim. Sorry for the inconvenience.. yada-yada-yada.
(You) Thank you very much
(2)當(dāng)您沒有Drop off Receipt時(shí)
(UPS) We don’t have a record of your shipment sir.
(You) I dropped it off 2 days ago at your store on 123 anywhere street.
(UPS) We don’t see your shipment in the system sir.
(You) I don’t know what happened, but I dropped it off 2 days ago at your store on 123 anywhere street.
(UPS) Do you have any documentation of this?
(You) No. They told me they stopped giving out drop off receipts. I asked and they wouldn’t give me one.
(UPS) I am very sorry, there is nothing I can do for you sir, we don’t have any record of your shipment.
(You) %3$%SH!
(UPS) We don’t see your shipment in the system sir.
This probably goes round and round until someone hangs up on someone.
也就是說,UPS有時(shí)只認(rèn)這個(gè)文件,明明這個(gè)文件上其實(shí)也是貨件信息以及物流的tracking number等信息,但是人家就是要求您提供這個(gè)文件才會(huì)調(diào)查。
但是這個(gè)文件不等于POD哦!
POD是證明承運(yùn)商將您的貨件送達(dá)了亞馬遜手中,而Drop off Receipt是證明您的貨件送到了承運(yùn)商的手中。
如果承運(yùn)商答應(yīng)調(diào)查,發(fā)現(xiàn)貨件丟失確實(shí)是承運(yùn)商自身的責(zé)任,則您需要找承運(yùn)商索賠,而不是亞馬遜。不過,很多時(shí)候會(huì)發(fā)生烏龍事件,也就是承運(yùn)商送到了倉庫,但是倉庫沒有提供POD或者承運(yùn)商弄丟了POD,于是兩方扯皮,誰也不承認(rèn)是自己弄丟了貨件,遇到這種情況十分麻煩。
說完承運(yùn)商,另外一種涉及到開具Drop off Receipt的是亞馬遜,這時(shí)很多客戶可能納悶,為什么從來不知道亞馬遜也提供這樣的文件。其實(shí),亞馬遜提供Drop off Receipt是有特殊情況的,那就是只針對(duì)從中國(guó)大陸往亞馬遜發(fā)貨的賣家,他們需要將貨件運(yùn)送至亞馬遜在中國(guó)開設(shè)的drop off point,之后就由亞馬遜來負(fù)責(zé)協(xié)調(diào)承運(yùn)商去運(yùn)送貨件到亞馬遜倉庫。
